At the December Members’ Council, let’s celebrate the holiday by gathering together to give those who need it most.

Andy Barber, senior director of program funding for Sulzbacher, discusses the nonprofit’s award-winning, national model for ending homelessness for women and families, including approximately 90 children living there on any given day. Sulzbacher Village provides dignified, holistic services that include emergency housing, affordable housing, pediatric healthcare, and job readiness and job placement services. Barber is a member of the Development Department and has worked at Sulzbacher for more than 18 years, securing grant funding and helping develop programming for addressing the housing, income, and healthcare needs of homeless men, women, and children in Jacksonville.

Donation drive: Please bring an unwrapped gift for Sulzbacher Village residents, such as pajamas (sizes 2T to 5T), hypoallergenic baby wipes, diapers (sizes 4, 5, and 6), pull-ups (size 4T), games, coloring books, crayons, and backpacks.

After the talk, we invite members to sing songs along with the piano and enjoy refreshments at this holiday gathering.
