DESCRIPTION:Home landscapes can go beyond ornamental plants. You can grow food in your landscape\, too—and enjoy the beauty and the utility of edible plants. Whether your home has a giant yard or a small patio\, you can incorporate foodscaping into your plan. \nBeth Marlowe\, urban garden coordinator at the UF|IFAS Extension Office of Duval County\, discusses ways to use your existing garden beds or containers to grow herbs\, leafy greens\, edible flowers\, and much more. She’ll also provide tips for navigating homeowners association rules and avoiding dangerous herbicides and pesticides on plants you intend to eat. \nRegister today for the program at noon Tuesday\, October 6.
