DESCRIPTION:Sarath McClennon and Kari Hartley\, co-owners and designers at Soulful Stems by S&K\, demonstrate several of their wondrous and whimsical floral designs at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday\, March 23. They’ll take you step-by-step through the process of creating a luxurious gift box arrangement\, then provide the materials to design your own. You’ll leave with a creation you can give as a gift or display at home. \nSoulful Stems by S&K specializes in creating complete wedding designs from show-stopping bouquets and boutonnieres to breathtaking centerpieces\, tablescapes\, and decor. The designers are known for their imaginative flourishes\, such as live floral necklaces\, boas\, crowns\, arm bands\, and tattoos. \nFun with Flowers is an educational outreach program that is open to the public. Founded by the Garden Club of Jacksonville more than 30 years ago\, Fun With Flowers has served as a model for similar programs offered throughout the United States. Attendees learn the latest professional design techniques\, then create breathtaking floral creations during the hands-on portion of the program. \nThis program will be offered in-person at the Garden Club and simultaneously on Zoom. Seating at the Garden Club is limited\, so register today. COVID-19 health and safety guidelines will be practiced during this event. Seating and work stations in the Ballroom will be socially distanced\, and attendees must wear masks throughout the entire program. \nIf you want to make your own arrangement at home\, you can choose the Zoom registration with materials and follow along at home.
