All are invited to both events. \nMaster Gardeners can earn CEUs by attending the program. \nPermaculture is about working with nature. It’s a sustainable design that connects humans\, plants\, animals\, and Earth. It’s all about creating efficient\, small-scale systems that use nature’s power\, not fossil fuels. \nChris Gay\, President of the Clay Counter Master Gardeners\, will show us how to turn dirt into soil to have healthy lawns and gardens; the homeowner’s challenges in growing grass and plants when buying a new home and what to do. After a tough winter that impacted many of our plants\, we’ll be spending the day planting\, trimming\, pruning\, weeding\, and tidying up our outdoor spaces. It truly takes a village to keep our campus looking beautiful\, and we’re grateful for every helping hand! \nPlease dress appropriately for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes to protect your feet. Bring a pair of gardening gloves\, your favorite clippers\, and a refillable water bottle. The Garden Club will provide snacks and a water bottle filling station.
