SUMMARY:Budding Gardeners: Herb Life
DESCRIPTION:RESERVE YOUR SPACE\n\nLearn how herbs can bring flavor to your food and pollinators to your garden. Taste and smell different herbs to learn more about them. Plant an herb to take home and watch it grow. Construct a booklet of herb facts and recipes. \n\nBudding Gardeners is aimed at children in grades 1-6 to discover gardening\, conservation\, and wildlife through interactive programs\, crafts\, and outdoor projects. Children and their parents or caregivers collaborate during a morning of healthy and fun activities. A snack in sealed packaging will be served. \nThis program is sponsored by the Wildflower Garden Circle. \n\nCOVID-19 health and safety guidelines will be practiced during this event. We require guests to wear masks indoors at all times\, but we plan to hold much of this event outside with lots of space for physical distancing. Seating and work stations will be socially distanced. Masks are not required outdoors unless you cannot maintain at least six feet of distance from others. \nThe program is free for members and only $5 for nonmembers\, but space is limited. Registration is required\, so we know how many supplies to provide.
