Get ready to roll up your sleeves and help the Garden Club of Jacksonville bloom this fall! Join us for a fun and rewarding volunteer day as we prepare the Garden Club campus at 1005 Riverside Avenue for the busy autumn season ahead. Volunteers will assist with planting fall annuals, trimming, pruning, pulling weeds, refreshing mulch, clearing fallen leaves, and general clean-up throughout the grounds. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or simply enjoy spending time outdoors and giving back to the community, there’s a place for everyone to lend a hand.

It truly takes a village to keep the Garden Club and its surrounding gardens looking beautiful, welcoming, and event-ready year-round, and we are so grateful for the support of our dedicated volunteers. This is also a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the cooler autumn air, meet fellow members, connect with nature, and enjoy a morning of teamwork and community spirit in one of Jacksonville’s most beautiful settings.

Please dress comfortably in layers suitable for the fall weather and wear closed-toe shoes to protect your feet while working in the gardens. We recommend bringing gardening gloves, your favorite hand clippers or tools, sunscreen, and a refillable water bottle. Seasonal fall snacks and warm refreshments will be provided, along with access to our water bottle filling station to help everyone stay energized and hydrated.
