Chanel Lee of Living Beauty Florals teaches Fun with Flowers, a floral design workshop and DIY program.

Her presentation includes lantern designs for use from Halloween through the holiday season. She will also demonstrate high-impact fall floral designs using a simple fishbowl or holiday gift box as containers. The Garden Club will raffle her arrangements to program attendees.

For the DIY portion of the program, Lee instructs participants on how to create a professional hand-tied bouquet perfect for use in an entryway, on a dining table, or for gift-giving. (Don’t forget to bring gloves and clippers for the hands-on portion of the program.)

Combining a deep passion for flowers and creativity, Lee embarked on a journey to help people express themselves through the language of floral arrangements. She listens to clients’ needs and creates one-of-a-kind compositions. Living Beauty Florals was voted one of Folio’s “Best of Jax” for gift-giving. Fun with Flowers is an educational outreach program that is open to the public. Founded by the Garden Club of Jacksonville more than 30 years ago, Fun With Flowers has served as a model for similar programs offered throughout the United States. Attendees learn the latest professional design techniques, then create breathtaking floral creations during the hands-on portion of the program.

This program will be offered in-person at the Garden Club and simultaneously on Zoom. Seating at the Garden Club is limited, so register today. COVID-19 health and safety guidelines will be practiced during this event. Seating and work stations in the Ballroom will be socially distanced, and attendees must wear masks throughout the entire program.

If you want to make your own arrangement at home, you can choose the Zoom registration with materials and follow along at home. Your supplies will be ready for pick-up at noon-6 p.m. on October 7.
