Join Anne Crane and Miranda Wilson of the Jacksonville Flower Market to learn how to create lovely floral arrangements for the holidays. They will demonstrate several ways to incorporate florals into your holiday decor and provide tips to help you make those arrangements last throughout the holidays. Then they will take you step-by-step through the process of creating a holiday centerpiece and provide the materials to design your own. You’ll leave with a creation you can give as a gift or display at home.

Anne Crane has been designing for the Jacksonville Flower Market for two years, but she has been working in and out of the floral industry for 35 years. She works on the company’s daily delivery orders and loves working with wildflowers.

Miranda Wilson has been in the wedding industry for eight years after graduating from the University of Florida with a degree in event management. She specializes her floral work on weddings but also designs for corporate and other kinds of events.

Fun with Flowers is an educational outreach program that is open to the public. Founded by the Garden Club of Jacksonville more than 30 years ago, Fun With Flowers has served as a model for similar programs offered throughout the United States. Attendees learn the latest professional design techniques, then create breathtaking floral creations during the hands-on portion of the program.

This program will be offered in-person at the Garden Club.
