Join Nathan Ballentine, the Man in Overalls, for an introduction to organic, raised-bed summer food gardening (#GrowYourGroceries). Learn what and how to grow in the summertime to succeed. We’ll quickly cover grass-to-garden basics like how to pick a site, garden bed types, and healthy soil. Then, we will focus on summer-loving varieties and lazy ways to prevent weeds, manage pests, and minimize the need to water. We’ll finish with a chat about harvesting and summer recipes. Bring plenty of questions. Experienced gardeners are also welcome.

Register today for the program at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 23. This virtual program is free, but you must register. Once you do, we’ll send you the link, so you can join the meeting.
