Join Laura Haley for “It’s Not Easy Being Green: Modern Mechanics for Floral Design” presented by the Late Bloomers Garden Club.

Laura demonstrates several beautiful floral designs without using floral foam. Decomposing floral foam crumbles into tiny microplastic particles that remain in the environment for hundreds of years; microplastics end up in the soil, water, and other ecosystems. Flower shows are beginning to limit the use of floral foam.

Late Bloomers Garden Club, which is part of the Garden Club of Jacksonville, invites you to register for this demonstration and see the alternatives available for contemporary designs.

$25 for #GardenClubJax members, includes boxed lunch after the program
