2020 Luminaria Night
December 20, 2020 @ 5:00 pm - 10:30 pm
| $5 – $40One night only! Celebrate Riverside Avondale Preservation Luminaria Night with a party at the Garden Club of Jacksonville and luminaria tours by Go Tuk’n. Take in the view of the luminaria from the front lawn of the Garden Club while you listen to live music, sip a beverage, nosh on small bites, and play lawn games with plenty of room to physically distance while connecting socially. Attend the Holiday Garden Boutique in the Ballroom and find a wide range of items: masks, accessories, jewelry, garden tools, Christmas decor, books, and more!
Catch a tour from Go Tuk’n and enjoy an open-air ride through the lights of Riverside and Avondale. There are six seats in each Tuk Tuk, and four Tuk Tuks will be running during each tour time. You may also opt for a private Tuk Tuk. Tickets are free for children ages 3 and younger, but they will need to sit on an adult’s lap.
COVID-19 health and safety guidelines will be practiced during this event. Attendees must wear masks when indoors but can take them off outside except when less than six feet from others who aren’t in your group. We’ve also spread out the time of the event from 5 p.m to 10:30 p.m. to encourage a more leisurely pace.

Participate in Luminaria Night
The Garden Club invites you to participate in Riverside Avondale Preservation Luminaria Night by purchasing your own kit, which is a major fundraiser for RAP. The Garden Club is also inviting all of the neighbors on our stretch of Riverside Avenue to participate. We have invited all of them to purchase kits, and Garden Club volunteers will assemble the kits, place them in front of their businesses, and remove them at the end of the evening.
