After extensive consideration, The Garden Club of Jacksonville is going to reschedule the 2024 Community Gardens Summit. The hurricanes and other circumstances have impacted our ability to host a successful event.

We understand this is a very popular program, and appreciate your understanding and consideration as everyone at #GardenClubJax works to put on the best program possible.

Please be on the look out for a new date soon!

The Garden Club of Jacksonville presents the second annual Community Gardens Summit to convene all the community gardens from around Northeast Florida, those planning to create them in the future, and anyone who wants to learn more about community gardens or take part in one.

Experts from these organizations will present best practices for organizing, building, maintaining, and sustaining community gardens. We’ll also provide tips for gardening at home.

The Garden Club will also hold a seed swap for anyone who wants to take part. Details will be provided later.

5:30-6:30 p.m. Visit community garden tables, seed swap, food vendors, donation bar

6:30-7:30 p.m. Presentations

7:30-7:45 p.m. Q&A

7:45-8:30 p.m. Visit community garden tables, food vendors, donation bar

The program is free and open to the public, but registration is required so the Garden Club knows how many chairs to provide. We appreciate your help!
