Learn how to grow plants by using seeds, taking cuttings from other plants, or dividing larger plants. This is called “propagation.”  Children will get a chance to dig in the dirt, learn the steps for nurturing their own plants, and take home some supplies to try it on their own.

Budding Gardeners is aimed at children in grades 1-6 to discover gardening, conservation, and wildlife through interactive programs, crafts, and outdoor activities.

Light refreshments are provided.

COVID-19 health and safety guidelines will be practiced during this event. Seating and work stations in the Ballroom and Courtyard will be socially distanced, and attendees must wear masks throughout the program.

The program is free for members and only $5 for nonmembers, but space is limited. Registration is required, so we know how many supplies to provide.
