Join Miranda Wilson of Jacksonville Flower Market for a workshop on incorporating holiday greenery into three different treatments—garland, door wreaths, and table centerpieces. Miranda will take you step-by-step through the process of creating a holiday centerpiece, then provide the materials to design your own. You’ll leave with a creation you can give as a gift or display at home. She’ll also how to take care of your arrangements, so they last throughout the holidays.

Miranda has been in the wedding industry for six years after graduating from the University of Florida with a degree in event management. She specializes her floral work on weddings but also designs for corporate and other kinds of events.

Fun with Flowers is an educational outreach program that is open to the public. Founded by the Garden Club of Jacksonville more than 30 years ago, Fun With Flowers has served as a model for similar programs offered throughout the United States. Attendees learn the latest professional design techniques, then create breathtaking floral creations during the hands-on portion of the program.

This program will be offered in-person at the Garden Club at two times on December 2: 10 a.m.-noon and 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Masks are optional for those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 but are recommended to help protect everyone. Those who are unvaccinated should wear masks; the Garden Club appreciates your cooperation.
