The Garden Club of Jacksonville presents John Gidding, landscape architect and host of the hugely popular HGTV “Curb Appeal” shows, for a presentation about his new book “At Home with Nature: A Guide to Sustainable, Natural Landscaping.” San Marco Books and More will sell copies of Gidding’s book, and the author will be available to sign them after the program. Several local organizations will have tables with information and items for sale before and after the program. Grab a drink from the donation bar and visit the food vendor.

John Gidding

Born in Istanbul, John Gidding attended American schools in Turkey and Switzerland before entering Yale University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in architecture. An enthusiastic art and math student, he also earned a master’s degree in architecture from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. He hosted the hugely popular HGTV shows “Curb Appeal,” “Curb Appeal, the Block,” and “Designed to Sell,” has appeared on “Trading Spaces,” and is a frequent guest on Rachel Ray.
