Horticulture Corner: Go Native

| FREEJoin Nicholas Freeman, owner and operator of Wacca Pilatka native landscaping company, as he discusses how to create a Florida-friendly yard using native, some nonnative, and edible plants to create harmony and abundance in the garden.
Nicholas Freeman launched Wacca Pilatka as an ecological landscape company focused on creating healthy and sustainable Florida yards. He was one of the members of the Ixia Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society created and now maintain Native Parks #1 and #2 at Park Street and Avondale Avenue in the Riverside Avondale neighborhood. This program will be offered in-person at the Garden Club and simultaneously on Zoom. Masks are optional for those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 but are recommended to help protect everyone. Those who are unvaccinated should wear masks; the Garden Club appreciates your cooperation.
