Do you want to attract butterflies and other forms of life to your garden? #GardenClubJax joins Bill Berthet, the 2019 winner of the St. Johns Riverkeeper’s Best River-friendly Wildlife Habitat Yard award, for a tour of the incredible environment he has created to attract living creatures. Learn how you can provide the best foundation for trees, bushes, plants, and vines to attract Northeast Florida pollinators and blooming times throughout the year to maximize their visits.

Berthet has dedicated much of his life to learning and traveling the world to see butterflies. He’s documented 64 different butterfly species in his yard situated on Julington Creek. He recently revised his 72-page guide packed with valuable information about bees, wasps, and 28 species of butterflies, including several pages about what might be killing caterpillars in your garden.

Register today for the program at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 11. This virtual program is free, but you must register. Once you do, we’ll send you the link, so you can join the meeting.
