On June 2, we welcomed plant enthusiasts and gardeners to the Garden Club of Jacksonville for our Horticulture Corner: Propagating and Caring for Succulents program! Guests joined horticulturist Myra Osborne for an engaging evening of learning, hands-on activities, and succulent-growing inspiration.

Myra introduced participants to the fascinating world of succulents, sharing tips on selecting, propagating, and caring for these low-maintenance plants. Through live demonstrations and a guided workshop, attendees learned how easy it can be to create new plants from cuttings and propagate dozens of succulents from a single parent plant. Each participant left with at least two potted succulents to continue growing and enjoying at home.

The evening was filled with questions, conversation, and plenty of hands-on learning as guests gained confidence in propagating their own plants. Whether experienced gardeners or first-time succulent growers, participants left with practical knowledge and beautiful new additions to their plant collections.

A special thank you to Myra Osborne for sharing her expertise and passion for horticulture with our community. We also thank everyone who attended and helped make this Horticulture Corner program such a success. We look forward to seeing you at future Garden Club of Jacksonville events!
