On June 13, volunteers gathered at the Garden Club of Jacksonville for our June Volunteer Workday, rolling up their sleeves to help prepare the campus for a busy summer season. Community members of all ages joined us for a rewarding morning of gardening, teamwork, and giving back while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the Garden Club grounds. Volunteers assisted with planting, trimming, pruning, weeding, mulching, and general landscape maintenance throughout the property.

The morning was filled with productive work as volunteers tackled a variety of projects designed to keep the campus looking its best. From refreshing garden beds and clearing overgrown areas to tidying pathways and maintaining landscaped spaces, every helping hand made a meaningful impact. The enthusiasm and dedication of our volunteers helped ensure that the Garden Club grounds remain a welcoming and beautiful destination for members, guests, and visitors throughout the summer.

Volunteer workdays are an important part of maintaining the Garden Club’s historic campus and fostering a sense of community among those who share a passion for gardening, conservation, and environmental stewardship. These events provide an opportunity to learn new gardening skills, connect with fellow volunteers, and make a tangible difference in preserving one of Jacksonville’s treasured green spaces.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who volunteered their time and energy to support the Garden Club of Jacksonville. Your hard work and generosity help keep our gardens thriving and our campus looking beautiful year-round. We look forward to welcoming both returning and new volunteers at future workdays as we continue growing and caring for our community together.
