Staff members from the Jacksonville Flower Market presented two classes of Fun with Flowers: Holiday Decor on December 2.

They demonstrated ways to incorporate holiday greenery into three different treatments—garland, door wreaths, and table centerpieces. They took participants step-by-step through the process of creating a holiday centerpiece, then provided the materials for attendees to design their own. They also discussed ways to care for arrangements to help them last throughout the holidays.

Fun with Flowers is an educational outreach program that is open to the public. Founded by the Garden Club of Jacksonville more than 30 years ago, Fun With Flowers has served as a model for similar programs offered throughout the United States. Attendees learn the latest professional design techniques, then create breathtaking floral creations during the hands-on portion of the program.
