The Garden Club of Jacksonville is busy planning for the fall and beyond, but we can’t do it without you! We need your help to shape our programs and events. Please volunteer for one of these planning committees, and we will be in touch with the next steps.

  • Open House, September 14, 2021: We invite all members and the community to come to learn about all the great things we have in store and toast to the upcoming year.
  • Horticulture Corner, Monthly: Experts educate you about landscape and garden design, maintenance, and conservation.
  • Budding Gardeners, Monthly: Children in grades 1-6 discover gardening, conservation, and wildlife through interactive programs, crafts, and outdoor activities.
  • Fun with Flowers, Six a Year: Professional floral designers lead hands-on workshops so you can make your own creations to take home.
  • Ninah Cummer Birthday, October 16, 2021: We honor our founder with a fabulous celebration.
  • Jacksonville Fair Horticulture Show, November 4-14, 2021: The Garden Club hosts this community competition and invites dozens of other organizations to take part.
  • Combined Circles, Three a Year: Garden circles meet at the Garden Club for programs that appeal to a wide variety of interests.
  • Luminaria Night, December 12, 2021: On the evening of Riverside Avondale Preservation Luminaria Night, the Garden Club hosts an evening of entertainment and holiday light tours with Go Tuk’n.
  • Designer of Distinction, January 27, 2022: A floral designer with a national reputation demonstrates breathtaking designs at a catered luncheon event.
  • Flea Market, February 25-26, 2022: The ultimate place to reuse and recycle! Keep valuable items out of the landfill while you help support the Garden Club.
  • Blooms Galore & More, April 8-9, 2022: The largest plant sale of its kind features dozens of vendors, a green market of environmentally themed items, educational programs, a kids zone, and more.
  • Annual Meeting, May 19, 2022: The state of the Garden Club meeting for all members.
