Fun with Flowers: Soulful Stems

Sarath McClennon and Kari Hartley, co-owners and designers at Soulful Stems by S&K, demonstrated several of their wondrous and whimsical floral designs at Fun with Flowers: Soulful Stems on March 23.

Soulful Stems by S&K specializes in creating complete wedding designs from show-stopping bouquets and boutonnieres to breathtaking centerpieces, tablescapes, and decor. The designers are known for their imaginative flourishes, such as live floral necklaces, boas, crowns, arm bands, and tattoos.

Fun with Flowers is an educational outreach program that is open to the public. Founded by the Garden Club of Jacksonville more than 30 years ago, Fun With Flowers has served as a model for similar programs offered throughout the United States. Attendees learn the latest professional design techniques, then create breathtaking floral creations during the hands-on portion of the program.
